RCPGB launched first session of its signature project ‘Kali Umalatana’ for this year at Renukar Swarop Memorial Girls High School on Saturday, 23rd July. Renowned cardiologist Dr. Jagdish Hiremath was the Chief Guest. Around 350 girls in their early teens attended the session. ‘CHANGE IS THE ONLY ETERNAL THING IN THIS WORLD’ was the signature line by Dr. Hiremath. With his unique blend of lively vocabulary and oratory, combined with great presentation he was able to put his mark. The overall audience and girl students listened to him in rapt attention. His message was about the changes in our life and how to accept them for a better quality life. He gave clear idea about what things in life must change and what should not ! School Principal Savita Kajrekar gave the welcome speech. She along with the Vice Principal Rashmi Deshmukh welcomed and felicitated the guests. President Rtn. Adv.Vaishali Bhagwat explained the thought process for such programs. She announced that RCPGB has planned 6 such sessions in Marathi Medium schools. A booklet titled ‘KALI UMALATANA’ booklet was published by Dr. Hiremath on this occasion. The booklet is written by Rtn Dr Tanuja Javdekar. The expenses for printing the booklet are sponsored by Sai Pharmaceutical. The director of Sai Pharmaceutical Dr. Jalinder Deshmukh was also present. Rtn. Dr. Tanuja Javdekar gave scientific information to the girls about physical and emotional changes in this age. As a Flower medicine expert she gave tips to these adolescent girls. This was followed by open question / answer session. The response for this session was overwhelming.
